As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting underserved young people, the DHL UK Foundation is proud to announce our strategic grant partners. These organisations will play a key role in delivering our 2025–2030 strategy and share our mission to unlock opportunities for young people across the UK.

We are pleased to confirm multi-year partnerships with Place2Be, Get Further, Resurgo, Street League, and ThinkForward. These partnerships, along with our GoTeach partners, represent a total charitable donation of £1.2 million per year from the Foundation, enabling sustained and focused support for young people to be ready for employment.

Our strategy is built around three pillars:

  • Preventative – early intervention to build aspirations, improve attendance, and increase access to career advice.
  • Transition/At Risk – tailored support for young people navigating key educational milestones and preparing for the world of work.
  • Re-engagement – intensive programmes for those furthest from the labour market, helping them overcome barriers and reconnect with opportunities.

The charities we are partnering with each bring unique expertise to this mission:

  • Place2Be provides vital mental health support in schools through counselling, training, and expert guidance. They help young people build resilience and thrive, providing a foundation for each of them to succeed in their futures.
  • Get Further offers tailored tuition to help students re-engage with learning and succeed in core subjects—with a focus on young people in apprenticeships requiring their functional skills in Maths and English.
  • Resurgo delivers coaching and employability programmes that empower young people to move into employment.
  • Street League uses sport to engage and support young people not in education, employment or training, helping them achieve positive outcomes.
  • ThinkForward provides long-term coaching and workplace activities to support young people to develop their work readiness skills and successfully transition into sustainable employment.

Each partner will deliver targeted interventions aligned to the three pillars, creating meaningful outcomes that help shape a young person’s future. Our multi-year partnerships are designed to create impactful relationships that drive long-term change for young people in the UK.

The strategic partnerships will complement our GoTeach programme delivered in partnership with Lift Schools and The Talent Foundry.

We are excited about the journey ahead and the positive change we can create together. More information about our grant partnerships and their impact will be shared in the coming months.
