Helping students to think logistics

Promoting the value of logistics to students

Earlier this month two colleagues Duncan Pugh and Lee Butterworth delivered two GoTeach sessions to over 65 students at a Think Logistics workshop hosted by Rugby College.

The students really enjoyed the session and said it gave them a stronger understanding of the logistics industry and the scale of DHL. One student said: “I didn’t realise that logistics has a part in almost everything we do” while another commented: There are so many different job roles within one industry.” The evaluation forms revealed that 90% of students are now more likely to consider a career in the logistics industry.

The students were also encouraged to sign up for further activities where DHL colleagues will be helping to develop their employability skills.
