Run in partnership with the Prince's Trust, the 'Get into' programme helps young people between the ages of 18 and 25 get back into employment. It is a two to four week course where the young people learn different skills and roles of working in logistics or customer services. As a result of just one 2010 course, thirteen young people ended up with jobs in DHL. Please look at the events listing to see which sites have courses planned for the rest of the year.
Challenge yourself: change young lives
If you are looking to step well outside your comfort zone in 2011 and want to raise money for disadvantaged young people at the same time, two challenges laid down by the Prince's Trust might be for you.
You could journey to Costa Rica and cross the Continental Divide at 2,330m on an epic team journey from the edge of the Pacific Ocean to the shores of the Caribbean Sea, experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Central America. Or you could journey to central Nepal where the captivating Annapurna massif rises from the mighty Himalayas. These huge, dramatic mountains form the stunning setting for the seven-day Action Challenge.
These are tough physical challenges, with a serious fund raising commitment attached. One thing is for sure, they will be life changing for you and for the young people you help. You can download a brochure below or find more information from the Prince's Trust website link.
