On Thursday 30 June, at an award ceremony in London, the DHL UK Foundation was announced as the winner of the Corporate Foundation award, in the first ever Business Charity Awards.
The aim of the awards, launched this year by Third Sector (the main voluntary sector magazine)and the Institute of Fundraising, is to recognise the contribution made to charity work and the voluntary sector by the UK business community and to spread knowledge of good practice and new ideas in business-charity partnerships.
