GROUNDWORK

From small beginnings in Merseyside, Groundwork UK has grown to a major national force for action. It is a group of charities helping people and organisations make changes in order to create better neighbourhoods, to build skills and job prospects, and to live and work in a greener way.

In the pilot project young people, with the help of DHL mentors will pitch their community improvement ideas to a panel of judges. The winning project will receive a grant and support to put their plan into action. All groups will work together to manage different aspects of the project and will work with the DHL volunteers on a range of management disciplines.
